Downtown Committee of Syracuse

The Downtown Committee was established in 1975 as the first business improvement district in the state, and represents the interests of business and property owners. It plays a lead role in the coordination of downtown’s revitalization through its programs in economic development, marketing, environmental maintenance, parking, transportation, and security.
