CEO Committees

CenterState CEO invites you to become involved in our mission and programs through a number of committees. We are always looking for new participants and new ideas.  Contact us today for more information on how you can join a committee.  Committees include:

CenterState CEO Ambassadors
Volunteers are responsible for welcoming new CenterState CEO members and providing recognition to area businesses who are celebrating important milestones.  Contact Sharon Abert sabert@centerstateceo.com.

CenterState CEO plans a variety of member events on both a local and regional level, such as its Annual Meeting/Business of the Year, Economic Forecast Luncheon, Clambake, Economic Champions Luncheon, CenterState Golf Outing, Business After Hours, networking events and many more. Volunteers are needed to advise, recommend and plan such events to provide maximum value to our member base. Committee meetings are held once a month at CenterState CEO headquarters.  Contact Lisa Metot at lmetot@centerstateceo.com.

Executive Dialogue
Groups of non-competing business owners/managers meet monthly for candid peer discussions and assistance. Each group acts as a board and consultants for its members on a variety of topics. If you would like to become involved in the Executive Dialogue program, contact Lisa Metot at lmetot@centerstateceo.com.

Government Modernization Task Force
Member volunteers study, develop and support ways for local governments in CenterState New York to become more efficient. Meetings are generally the second Thursday of each month. For additional information, contact Deb Warner at dwarner@centerstateceo.com.

Government Relations
As part of this committee, members meet with elected officials and policy makers, explore issues, formulate positions, lead lobbying efforts and sponsor events such as the annual Issues Conference. For more information about the Government Relations Committee, contact Deb Warner at dwarner@centerstateceo.com.
